Why was he like this with me i didnt do anything wrong?

i like this guy alot ive liked him since 09 i know its such a long time and i should just move on but i feel like hes meant to be for me he has everything in common with me and hes the type of guy i look for. Back in 09 we talked so much he would tell me stuff that he wouldnt even tell his best friends. Now i wish times can be like that again in 2010 he got his phone taken away until feburary of this month so that kind of made us not talk,he was always to shy to talk to me but i would always hear him talking to his friends about me.Then i started texting him when i found out he got his phone back but he had his contacts all erased. When i texted him he acted like he didnt know me -.-. but then later on we started talking maybe twice a week but when i went on this school trip i got him a shirt and me and my friends have the same shirt haha were freaks. anyways he said he was going to pay me back and he never did because every time ill ask him he would say i dont have it yet. and now we text barley last time i texted him he replied only twice. i know hes not using me for stuff because hes not like that. I really like him and i dont know why he treats me this way. he also textes other girls like 24/7 i know because of fb. so he must hate me because he never replies but he replies to others? but the thing that makes me 23948234821 times more confused is he acts like he likes me soo much in person
