ADVICE PLEASE, I DON'T KNOW WHAT TO DO!!! How do I get this guy to notice/like me?

Get your friend to organize an outing with a few friends (including you and john) and talk to him about the trip, his birthday, ask him questions about his school. don't forget to socialize with other people as well, don't scare him off :)
