Has your child ever successfuly faked illness to miss school?

My 7 year old tricked me. now she is home and i have just realized she was faking. my car isnt working and the school bus has gone. how do i know she is lying next time? she was writhing in agony over an alleged tummy ache and saying she was nauseaus.
