Is it ok to post sweet, cute and cheeky status to FB when you are in a relationship?

I am in a long distance relt for over a year and most of the time we communicate through FB, im so in love with my boyfriend and just cant stop saying love you and miss you etc. I live in a christian country and he lives in the UK. my Q, is it ok to post sweet, cheeky, cute status and even write to his wall? how much is too much? or its ok doesnt really matter just say what you feel? i know he likes it but just wanna know others opinion, just curious. Thanks, your opinion matters.
