You should just flat out say, "do you like me as more than a friend?" She can't do anything but say yes or no. If she says no, drop it because it's kind of annoying when someone says no and you keep coming for it (it's happened to me). If she says yes, look for the tickets and invite her to go with you as like a date. You can go to dinner first, bring her flowers, the whole shebang. You wouldn't look like a b**** if your mom drove, but you two could probably talk more and get closer if it was just the two of you.
